11/22/09 First Day of Deconstruction - 7.0 hours

Removed:
Bonnet, Luggage Rack, Hood w/ trim, Battery, Windshield, Seats (L&R), Spare Tire, Doors, Interior

Front and rear bumpers, rear splash apron, spare tire bracket, fuel tank and straps.

Rear splash apron was filled with up to 2mm of bondo and excess primer which easily broke away. The condition of the metal is poor and one of the brackets is torn.

Getting Started

After several months of planning and organization, the restoration of MG-TF Ser.No. 9057 is underway. This blog will document this project and hopefully elicit guidance from those with far greater knowledge and experience.
